Reference Pricing Analyst at KBW Financial

Our Investment client is in need for a Reference Pricing Analyst. This person will work closely with Portfolio Management, Investment Compliance, Trading, Fund Services and Legal to produce the best outcomes for the firm around purchases, client permissibility and regulatory restrictions

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for several operational tasks, maintaining data quality and providing pricing support to colleagues around the globe on inquiries as well as leveraging multiple data vendors to generate a best of breed data representation.

• Assist in the creation of instruments, as requested by Investors and Trading

• Execute daily validation and initiation procedures, ensuring the integrity and consistency of data across multiple platforms

• Develop a deep understanding of internal systems and related datasets to help with solution design as well as handling support issues

• Identify opportunities to implement process improvements, develop scalability, improve data quality, and augment controls

• Identification, ownership, and resolution of business and systems issues, with internal Technology experts, data vendors, brokers, and internal data consumers

Qualifications:

• The candidate is required to have a Bachelor’s degree with relevant operational, analytical, or financial experience

• A post-graduate or professional qualification (e.g. CFA), or progress towards one, is a plus

• Experience in financial industry with understanding of Fixed Income, Equity, FX and Derivative instruments, is a plus

• Experience with Bloomberg and other market data providers, is a plus along with proficiency in advanced MS Excel functions

• Experience with data querying and analysis tools such as SQL, VBA and Tableau, is a plus.
