Regional Controller-Construction - Creative Financial Staffing

Overview:

Join this large, established general contractor that does business in several western states and has a focus on sustainable construction, life science buildings, and civic and community involvement. The Regional Controller will oversee a two-state area and act as a liaison with operations, leadership, and corporate accounting/finance.

What you’ll do:

• Support regional operations forecasting and operations and handle monthly financial close
• Process & report sales/business taxes
• Coordinate timely compilation of all audit related documentation
• Ensure accurate and timely WIP reporting package for region
• Participate in special projects

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA+ but n/n
• 5+ years progressive construction related accounting experience
• Public accounting experience with construction engagements preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong systems experience (CMIC, Power BI, advanced Excel preferred)
