Master Halco, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing and perimeter security products is seeking an experienced Regional Decking and Railing Outside Sales Manager who may work remotely out of St Louis, Indianapolis, or Cincinnati!
The Regional Decking and Railing Outside Sales Manager (RDROSM) is responsible for leading a team of outside salespeople to launch and grow profitable sales of Decking, Railing, and Outdoor Structures (DR&OS) within their assigned Region. This role provides leadership and support to the team by being present in the field for joint sales calls, relationship building, prospecting, value creation, and training.

Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, coach, and lead Outside Sales Associates and other sales associates as assigned and required.
- Use the Master Halco STEPS training program to create value for associates and customers.
- Must become a Master Halco STEPS training program expert with the ability to lead, train, and coach associates using the program conduct on-the-job training with their team to train, and provide value that is customer-serving.
- Build long-lasting business relationships with key target DR&OS customers and sell products.
- Inspire and motivate their sales team to produce results at a high level.
- Ensures salespeople are aware of all available sales tools and resources.
- If opportunities arise to sell non-DR&OS products such as fencing, facilitate sales, and or hand off to the appropriate salesperson.
Accountabilities:
- Take a leadership role in setting sales and margin goals for Decking/Railing and Outdoor Structures (DR&OS) for the Region.
- Expand and diversify the customer base
- Launch, grow, and expand DR&OS product offerings to be a complete source for customers.
- Partner with the Regional Manager to create and execute short and long-term sales plans that are measurable and have a clear objective.
- Joint sales calls with field sales team to visit customers and provide on-the-job training.
- Perform hands-on product knowledge and value proposition training for associates and customers.
- Market analysis and sales strategy development.
- Provide Sales Support and product expertise to customers as well as Master Halco associates.
- Develop solid relationships with and with the help of additional internal and external resources when needed including Manufacturers and Distributors.

- Excellent face-to-face sales, training, and presentation skills with both small and large groups.

- Ability to support sales teams in new product expansion to meet company targets.
- Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the organization.
- Creative problem solver with hands-on engagement and solid business acumen.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively motivate and support the sales team.

- Soft skills include organization, strong communication skills, leadership, time management, and multitasking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Ability to travel within assigned regions up to 75% of the time (working in the field and/or at assigned branch locations).
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Sales, Sales Leadership, and Sales Training experience.
- Related industry experience preferred (Decking, Railing, Outdoor Living Products).
