Position Overview:
The Regional Director of Operations (RDO) will oversee the management and operational performance of multiple skilled nursing facilities within a designated region. This role requires a strategic leader who can ensure that each facility meets the company's standards for excellence, regulatory compliance, and financial goals. The RDO will work closely with administrators and department heads to support and enhance the quality of care, operational efficiency, and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide mentorship and guidance to facility administrators and management teams to drive strong leadership and operational success.
· Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement across the region.
· Oversee day-to-day operations of the assigned facilities to ensure optimal service delivery and adherence to company policies.
· Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions when necessary.
· Ensure that facilities within the region comply with all state and federal regulations.
· Lead quality improvement initiatives and assess their effectiveness through regular evaluations and feedback loops.
· Work with facility administrators to manage budgets and maintain financial performance aligned with corporate objectives.
· Assist in the development and implementation of long-term strategies to improve regional performance and achieve company goals.
· Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and coordinate their execution across facilities.
· Act as a key liaison between facility-level management and corporate leadership to align regional goals with company-wide strategies.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
· At least 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably within the skilled nursing or long-term care sector.
· Demonstrated success in managing multiple facilities and improving operational outcomes.
· Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality assurance processes.
· Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
· Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
