About the Job
We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dentistry and be knowledgeable in all aspects of the profession. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the dentist, sterilizing instruments, taking patient X-rays, and preparing patients for treatment. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Maintain patient records and prepare charts.
- Take and record patient medical histories.
- Provide patient education regarding dental care.
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, filing insurance forms, and ordering supplies.
