Responsibilities:
- Provide education, counseling, and Medical Nutrition therapy and care to patients, residents, and clients both individually and in groups.
- Perform assessments, develop, implement, document, and monitor nutrition care plans.
- Identify, develop, implement, deliver, and evaluate educational programs to patients, healthcare providers, and the community.
- Function as an integral part of the collaborative interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Serve as a nutrition resource for the patient, healthcare team, and community, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nutrition care.
Education Requirements:
- 4-year/bachelor's degree
Certification and Licensure:
- BLS Certification
- Commission on Dietetic Registration Registered Dietician
- Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist-Pennsylvania
- Eligible for PA Licensure may be accepted in lieu of actual license; PA Dietitian-Nutritionist Licensure required within 120 days of employment
- Certified Personal Trainer through NASM if applicable
