RN Market Float Pool Full Time Days Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Area Manager and Director, the Float Pool RN is defined as a nurse that is competent in both Med/Surge and Telemetry nursing who coordinates and provides care to patients utilizing nursing skills for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. These areas include Neuro, Cardiac, Ortho, Oncology, Acute Rehab, Behavioral Health and Multi-Specialty. The Float Pool RN will be required to float between 2 areas at both facilities in accordance with the Float Pool Staffing Agreement and hospital policy.
Education: Graduate of Accredited Nursing Program.
Experience: Minimum two (2) years of recent hospital based M/S nursing experience.
Licensure/Certs: Current RN license to practice in the state of TN. Current American Heart Association issued BLS certification prior to start date. ACLS & PALS preferred depending on unit assigned. CPI to be obtained during hospital Orientation depending on unit assigned.
