- Position is ambulatory surgery pre/post and PACU. Our team operates on a rotational call schedule, which is staff-managed and shared between team members. This means that while you will have the flexibility to enjoy time off, you will also contribute to our on-call rotation, providing support during emergencies or urgent situations. This collaborative approach ensures that the responsibilities of being on-call are shared equitably among all staff members.
- JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
- The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
- DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
- Ambulatory Surgery provides pre, intra and post op care to surgical and procedural sedation patients.We provide service for the patient population of pediatrics, adolescents, adult and elderly patients.We work with a variety of provider specialties in caring for people going home that day or are being admitted to the hospital.
- EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
- PCH Surgery Ambulatory:
ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
