Registrar

Must Haves:
Job responsibilities:
· Ensures confidentiality and integrity of all student records.
· Processes enrollment status certification requests.
· Processes academic transcript requests.
· Processes course scheduling requests and updates.
· Retrieves specific student related information as requested.
· Maintains log of requests and action taken.
· Responds to inquiries via telephone, email or in-person.
· Participates in university-wide registration processes.
· Coordinates the file maintenance of academic records source documents.
· Enters, updates and retrieves information stored in files and databases.
· Serves as support and/or back-up support to the various units in the office.
· Provides window/reception desk service to students and other clients.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
· Position will be required to report on-campus five days a week.
· Working hours are from 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Core competencies:
· Basic understanding of computer concepts and computer applications.
· Competence in both oral and written English.
· Excellent customer service.
· Ability to prioritize workload.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience with a Student Information System (Ellucian Banner and/or Workday Student preferred)
Minimum Requirements:
· Two to three years relevant work experience in a customer service focused environment
