About the Job
We are seeking experienced Regulatory Reporting Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts with a strong focus on CFTC Regulatory Reporting. The ideal candidates will possess in-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance within the financial services industry, specifically focusing on Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) reporting requirements. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, analyzing regulatory requirements, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting in line with CFTC standards.

- Regulatory Reporting: Interpret, analyze, and implement CFTC regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring all deliverables are met accurately and on time.
- Business Analysis: Gather and document business requirements related to CFTC reporting, translating them into actionable specifications for development teams.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business, compliance, and IT teams to support regulatory reporting processes and address reporting-related issues.
- Process Improvement: Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in regulatory reporting.
- Data Analysis and Validation: Conduct thorough data analysis and validation to ensure data integrity in regulatory reports, troubleshoot issues, and maintain data accuracy.
- Regulatory Change Management: Monitor regulatory changes impacting CFTC reporting and lead necessary adjustments to processes, documentation, and systems.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for compliance processes, reporting requirements, and project activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Project Leadership (Senior BA): For senior roles, provide project oversight, mentor junior Client, and support the development of strategic initiatives in regulatory reporting.
- Experience:
- BA: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in regulatory reporting, with a focus on CFTC or equivalent.
- Senior BA: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in regulatory reporting, with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of CFTC regulatory reporting requirements and relevant compliance standards in financial services.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large data sets to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools; familiarity with regulatory reporting platforms and systems.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements to various stakeholders.
- Certification: Professional certifications in regulatory compliance, such as CAMS, CFA, or FRM, are a plus.
- Project Management: Experience with project management or agile methodologies.
- Additional Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of other regulatory reporting standards (e.g., EMIR, MiFID) is beneficial.
- Experience in Financial Technology: Prior experience in a fintech environment or using advanced financial reporting tools.
