Responsibilities
Peraton is currently seeking to hire an experienced Release Manager to join our Federal Strategic Cyber program.
Location: Arlington, VA. A hybrid telework/remote work environment. Must be able to come on-site as needed.

In this role, you will:
- Work closely with Government Customers to ensure that prioritizations are properly recorded on the Scrum Board.
- Work closely with Requirements Engineer to break down requirements into workable user stories and tasks. Collaborate with developers and other team members to accurately score tickets, providing clear velocities for the team to our customer.
- Works closely with Customer to ensure proper prioritization of new requirements on a frequent basis.
- Ensure that the definition of done is adequately achieved before tickets are closed by working with the test engineer, security engineer, and other relevant developers.
- Coordinate releases of software based on sprint schedules and the tickets assigned/completed within those sprints.
- Work with technical writer to aggregate release notes prior to each release and ensures that technical manuals are consistently updated with new features/functions.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years related technical experience, or 6 years of relevant experience with a Masters. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Certifications in Agile and/or other Scrum-related subject areas.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts.
- Experience interfacing with clients, technical support personnel, and other technical professionals to ensure efficient and effective service.
- Experience working with Kanban boards and with Agile teams
- Experience with versioning software applications
- Experience managing Kanban boards effectively to clearly demonstrate level of progress to our customers.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
- In addition, selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation to start and for continued employment.
Preferred:
- Experience with Agile teams
- Experience in briefing Government Customers
