Remediation and Correction Testing Manager - JPMorgan Chase

As a Testing Manager in the Remediation's & Corrections team, you'll be supporting quality and testing programs for multiple Lines of Business such as Consumer and Business Banking. As a Remediation and Correction Testing Manager within the Correction and Remediation team, you'll be part of a team where the primary role is to ensure all corrections cases are recovered and closed in a timely manner along with identifying process improvements to make testing more efficient and audit ready. Corrections are typically of an unstructured nature, and can present complex, multilayered, and data intensive business problems and requires being quality assurance oriented, strong process adherence discipline, skill at working multiple initiatives simultaneously and work collaboratively across teams. In addition to helping the team solve complex business problems, this leader will need to partner with the Lines of Business Correction teams (Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers) to identify and implement opportunities to drive process efficiencies and effectiveness.
Job responsibilities
+ Resolve any issues concerning with the data and testing for a given correction case
+ Create or use existing reports to identify the bottlenecks for a successful resource allocation; Track and review findings/defects and observations with Remediation and Correction management team
+ Review and understand all cases in the queue and provide accurate status consistently so that cases can be prioritized & reprioritized
+ Coach, develop, and support employees actively.
+ Build strong working relationships with Project Managers, Business Analysts and Developer teams and management
+ Adhere to policy, procedure, and Controls requirements by the team and also case correction quality standards, process Service Level Agreements
+ Interface with various levels of management to report progress against plans, goals, and forecasts
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technologies
+ 8+ years' of experience in a leadership role supporting Quality Assurance/Testing or Business Analysts
+ Product experience of any of the Lines of Businesses listed above
+ Basic SQL/SAS & Unix knowledge
+ Working experience and/or expertise with Consumer & Community Banking data environments
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence Project Managers, Business Analysts, and developers/managers to achieve results
+ Exceptional critical thinking, process review and improvements, analytical and communication skills
+ Strong background in metrics-based monitoring and reporting
+ Ability to directly address conflicts and escalate issues where appropriate
