Overview:Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for scheduling patient appointments and managing the clinical medical records system. The Customer Service Representative will serve as a liaison between patients and hospital staff.Qualifications:Required Education:High School Diploma or GED.Preferred Education:Completion of a Medical Terminology course.Necessary Skills:1. Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.2. Ability to handle stressful situation in a professional and courteous manner.3. Basic understanding of medical terminology.Required Experience:One to two (1-2) years customer service experience.Preferred Experience:Two (2) years of customer service experience in a health care related industry.Age of Patient Served:All Age Groups.
