About the Job
Job Summary: The Repair & Maintenance position performs a wide variety of routine maintenance and repair tasks at Qik N EZ locations in Central Illinois. The duties of this position are highly varied and include but are not limited to the following:
Areas of Responsibility:
- Routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on various buildings and facilities throughout the company which will include but is not limited to work on refrigeration equipment, HVAC equipment, plumbing, electrical, and fuel pumps.
- Clean and repair fast food equipment such as soda fountains, roller grills.
- Installation of various equipment and shelving as needed for convenience stores.
- General maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
- Monitors and utilizes digital trouble ticket system.
- Regular communications with management and office staff to effectively repair, troubleshoot and prioritize day.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a background and drug test.
- Ability to work and complete tasks unsupervised.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA, OSFM, Department of Agriculture and ILEPA Rules and Regulations.
- Knowledge and understanding of petroleum equipment and systems, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, general carpentry, and lighting.
Job Type: Full-time.
