The Role
Artemis is looking for a Research Assistant for the San Diego office. Under the supervision of the Site Director, the Research Assistant will be responsible for supporting various activities associated with the day-to-day operations of the research department in the conduct of clinical trials in psychiatry and internal medicine.
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Range: $18-$22/hr
Location: San Diego- no remote work
Work Schedule: Monday & Thursday - 8:30am-5pm / Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 7:00am-3:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Own all laboratory processes and procedures (we can train on site)
- Prep source charts, ensuring the most recent version of the source is always utilized
- Collect and record vital signs
- Perform EKGs and associated transmissions when required
- Perform lab draws (including processing and shipping), as applicable
- Assist with scheduling vendor-related subject appointments (e.g., imaging, eye appointments)
- Clean, stock, and maintain department supplies and equipment in accordance with policy and duties as assigned
- Assist with EDC entry related to source documentation as requested; this does NOT include query resolution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Prior clinical research experience preferred
- Minimum one year experience as medical assistant, research assistant, or similar position; combination of education and experience will be considered
- Commitment and ability to deliver excellent customer service
