Job Description
Under direct supervision, performs routine and standard experiments and procedures as assigned; provides support services for research projects.
Qualifications
Associates Degree in sciences (or related field) or HS/GED
2+ years of related experience
Responsibilities
1. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), assists with simple experiments using standard techniques in area of specialty assigned; assists in maintenance of data/results of experiments.
2. May prepare specimens and/or mix chemicals and other solutions and set up lab experiments.
3. Maintains inventory of all research supplies; prepares purchase orders for reagents and supplies.
4. Performs routine maintenance of equipment.
5. Washes and sterilizes glassware
6. Performs other related duties.

Compensation Statement
Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $19.1117 - $25 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
