Stantec is looking to hire a Resident Engineer with experience in Deep Tunnel Storm Water Outfall Extension
The Resident Engineer must possess comprehensive knowledge of the existing stormwater networks in the Emirates of Dubai, including sea outfall systems associated with stormwater management.
- Expertise in evaluating and executing emergency works in marine and coastal environments is essential. This includes the ability to make immediate decisions, interact effectively with various service authorities, and manage tasks related to stormwater sea outfall.
- Extensive experience in the design, maintenance, and rehabilitation of stormwater network, and pumping stations, with a particular focus on marine and coastal applications for stormwater management.
- Proficiency in specific marine construction techniques related to stormwater sea outfall systems.
- Deep understanding of drainage, work design, emphasizing marine and coastal stormwater management.
- Familiarity with DM general conditions of contract, quality assurance, quantity surveying, and
He shall have a relevant degree from a recognized university and 20 years of experience in a senior-level position.
- Expertise in Primavera P3, with a focus on marine and coastal projects.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and project management software, with an ability to adapt these skills to marine-focused projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with an emphasis on conveying technical information related to marine stormwater management.
- Demonstrated capability in preparing instructions, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for marine and coastal stormwater projects.
- Decisive, with the capacity to make informed decisions under the specific conditions of marine and coastal environments.
- Ability to effectively liaise with DM and service authorities, particularly in contexts related to marine and coastal stormwater management.
- Full knowledge of excavation and backfilling methods, with additional focus on techniques suitable for marine environments.
