Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Location: Lakeland, FL
Salary: $48k – 55k annually
Overview
The Manager is a salaried full time position with The Proper House Group. They will work in partnership with the Culinary Manager, Fast Casual Operations Manager, President of Operations and general personnel. The position is required to ensure a sense of culture, care, policy, procedure and profitability.
This position will work side by side with the Culinary Manager and Fast Casual Operations Manager to assist in the implementation and sustained use of all in house policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Adheres to a weekly minimum of 40 working hours.
- Serve as direct contact to the Fast Casual Operations Manager and Culinary Manager.
- Implementation of all menu changes and execution, including food, wine and beverage programs.
- Responsible for completion of all daily and weekly checklists at the restaurant. (Opening, Midday and Closing)
- Responsible for completion of cleaning tasks and upkeep of the restaurant.
- Implementation and completion of all marketing initiatives and strategies from PHG Marketing Team/RumbleBuzz
- Responsible for all hiring and termination of employees in conjunction with Fast Casual Operations Manager and Culinary Manager.
- Responsible for the completion of bi-weekly payroll by 2:00 PM on Monday of corresponding week.
- Responsible for the input and upkeep of all Margins Edge invoicing and accounting.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the POS, as well as the upkeep of proper pricing, and menu item changes.
- Responsible for the coordination and execution of bi-annually reviews of all employees.
- Responsible for scheduling of FOH & BOH employees while maintaining labor goals.
- Responsible for product and equipment sourcing issues.
- Culinary Manager with the implementation and upkeep of Margins Edge recipes and inventory functions for all restaurants.
- Reports all pertinent metrics and information in weekly manager meetings with the Fast Casual Operations Manager and Culinary Manager.
- Responsible for all inventory control systems, ensuring they remain in place and maintained (ie Food, Wine, Beer, Paper Products).
- Ensures that a culture of care is being implemented and used with all employees.
- Recognizes opportunities and implements creative solutions to areas of improvement.
- Develops, recognizes and maintains avenues of profitability on a quarterly basis.
