Restoration Technician - ServiceMaster Restoration

The Technician is a first-responder to residential and commercial properties affected by damage or disaster. Technicians are responsible for water damage mitigation, on-location cleaning, microbial remediation, content pack outs, content processing/deodorization and content storage and handling.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Water extraction and mitigation

· Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration

· Vandalism, crime scene and biohazard clean up, demolition and light construction

· Structural board-up and site stabilization

· Carpet cleaning and on location cleaning

· Content handling/storage, unloading/loading trucks

· Manage and maintain a clean and organized appearance of vehicle, equipment, material and consumables on job site and warehouse at all times

· Manage and maintain inventories of all equipment, material, consumables and tools

· Complete all necessary paperwork including daily progress report, moisture logs, safety logs and diagrams

· All other duties or projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

· Experience in janitorial, housekeeping, custodial or restoration field is a plus as we respond to emergency water and fire damage for residential and commercial customers.

· Valid Drivers License with 3 years clean driving history in order to qualify for our auto insurance.

· Self-driven, detail oriented.

· Demonstrated organizational and problem solving skills.

· High level of integrity and commitment to the work.

· A desire to serve our customers and a passion for teamwork!

· Excellent customer service skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Two weekends per month of additional after-hours availability.

· A valid driver's license.

· Ability to lift/carry 25 lbs+

· Ability to work overtime hours as required.

· Excellent customer service skills- must be a “people person”!

· Must consent to pre-employment screening including a drug test and background check

· DMV record check if offered a position with the company.
