Job Overview:  Delivery of direct services to clients and also necessary indirect services for program development.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to provide direct restorative conversations with referred students at school.
• Responsible for providing re-entry conversations with student, parent, and climate and culture specialists.
• Responsible for running and/or supervising peace circles within the school.
• Responsible for promoting Trauma Sensitive / Restorative Justice Practices; acting as a liaison and an ambassador for the program by promoting the program principles;
• Responsible for preparing case notes and written reports as required. Responsible for documenting all client services.
• Responsible for attending all mandatory in-services, trainings, and staff meetings.
• Responsible to work in collaborative team efforts with other local agencies, schools, Lake County Probation, and the Department of Children and Family Services.
• Present to outside agencies and community groups as needed/directed.
• Responsible to assume other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Possession of a minimum of a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a behavioral or social science (social welfare, sociology, psychology, counseling, and guidance, social work, etc.). 
• Must have a working knowledge of trauma and its impact on youth, as well as Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. 
• Must be trained in (or willing to be trained in) Restorative Practices.
