Restorative Nursing Assistant/CNA - Community Memorial Healthcare

Salary Range: $21.00 - $24.47 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range. Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.

Position Overview:

The Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) provides services and interventions to promote the resident’s ability to adapt and adjust to living as independently and safely as possible. This concept actively focuses on achieving and maintaining optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.  RNA services helps residents to attain or maintain their highest practicable level of physical, mental, functional and psycho-social well-being or to prevent or slow a decline in condition.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current CA Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification
• Current BLS Certification
• One (1) or more years’ experience as an RNA or CNA in a long term care facility
• Complete a RNA competency certification course within six (6) months from date of hire
• Able to read, write and speak the English language

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish
