This role is crucial to our team as you will be responsible for overseeing the successful development, integration and management of our retail systems. You will be at the forefront of our technological advancements, ensuring the seamless operation and integration of our POS systems, APIs, and other retail technology. This position requires a candidate with a strong technical background and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the integration, operation, and maintenance of retail systems including POS systems and APIs.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing systems.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to retail systems and integrations.
4. Develop and implement protocols for the use and maintenance of retail technology.
5. Work closely with vendors and third-party providers to ensure the successful implementation and integration of new systems.
6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of retail systems, making recommendations for improvements or upgrades as necessary.
7. Ensure the security and integrity of retail systems, protecting company and customer data at all times.
8. Provide training and support to staff on the use of retail systems.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional work experience.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a development role, specifically with retail systems and integrations. This role requires development experience & experience on the systems as it relates to configuration. The integrations our client has call for someone who is comfortable working in a test environment, running test configuration updates and releasing them.
3. Strong knowledge and experience with POS systems and API integration.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
5. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technological concepts to non-technical staff.
7. Strong knowledge of data security protocols and procedures.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
9. Strong team player, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
10. Strong vendor management skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage third-party providers effectively.
11. Proactive and forward-thinking, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
