Job DescriptionThis role is part of the McDonald's Global Business Services (GBS) function. GBS is a global department responsible for performing business services to the larger McDonald’s organization. The position role models our commitment to customer experience, delivery excellence and operational efficiency. This includes establishing credibility and building trusted relationships with key customers, stakeholders and GBS Leaders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with the Administrative Committee, Global People, Legal, Treasury, Tax, IT, and external vendors to implement enhancements and changes (new features, law changes, new funds, etc.) to the McDonald's 401k Plan and the McDonald’ Deferred Compensation Plan, including the updating of communication materials for participants.
- Prepare various monthly bank account reconciliations.
- Prepare the company match expense testing.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies for participants at the crew level to the highest-level executives.
- Prepare Ex-Pat company match chargebacks.
- Prepare wires and reconciliations related to Non-Qualified payments to participants.
- Perform various ad-hoc projects and analysis to support Management and other customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Strong Excel skills, required
- 3+ years accounting experience
- Proven analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to comfortably interact with all levels within the organization and a customer service orientation
- The ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
