As our Retirement Plan Specialist, you"ll have a direct impact on helping the client see that 401(k) planning can be an exciting part of planning their future. You will manage, support and coordinate retirement plan client relationships under the direction of the Lead Advisor. You will interact with multiple internal and external contacts, including participants. This is a non-exempt, full-time position, reporting to the Senior Retirement Plan Lead Advisor.
What you will do:
- Manage and support client relationships to ensure a gold standard client experience. Engage in regular in-person, telephone and email client interaction.
- Prepare and process documentation related to client maintenance including account applications, transfer documents and other forms as required. Log all activities in the firm's CRM in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare and process documentation related to client onboarding. This includes initial applications, in-person and over the phone collaboration with client and service providers, and acting as a transition partner.
- Complete miscellaneous administrative tasks that support the client relationship as assigned and log all activities in the firm's CRM in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform client and prospect data entry in the firm's CRM. Ensure data accuracy and integrity and keep records current on existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate closely with Retirement Plan Lead Advisors at all stages of the client review meeting process, including preparation of materials and attendance at the meetings. Ensure accurate and detailed notes are entered into the CRM following the meeting. Follow up on action items.
- Perform calendaring functions with both internal teams and external clients, prospects and COIs.
- Provide administrative support for the firm's retirement plans, including assisting plan administrators and participants with questions regarding their plans. Assists with 401(k) participant meetings as requested.
- Conduct onsite education and enrollment meetings, to include preparation of materials.
- Assist with the preparation of requests for proposals.
- Interact with trustees, plan sponsors, plan participants, TPAs and record keepers as needed to service Retirement Plans.
- Positively engage with all members of the team in a professional office setting to support and advance Cable Hill's culture.
- Assist with projects as needed.

What you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a client facing role in the financial services industry. Experience working with retirement plans strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Sales Force preferred, but not required
