Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Description
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will work in a partially climate-controlled warehouse, primarily engaged in preparing orders for shipment. This involves packaging products, entering tracking information into a computer system, and printing labels. Proficiency in SAP is strongly preferred as it will be used daily. The role also includes administrative duties such as opening and re-boxing packages, sending emails to the procurement team, and entering information into SAP per SOP and customer guidelines. Expect to work overtime and weekends for the first 3-6 months to manage backlog, totaling approximately 60+ hours per week before transitioning to a standard 40-hour work week.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare orders for shipment by packaging products and entering tracking information.
+ Use a computer system to print labels and maintain accurate shipping records.
+ Open and re-box packages, then communicate with the procurement team via email.
+ Enter relevant information into SAP following SOP and customer guidelines.
+ Perform advanced administrative duties, including preparing complex reports and presentations.
+ Analyze data using various software packages and databases.
+ Determine methods and procedures to accomplish tasks efficiently.
+ Expect to work on your feet all day and lift 20-50lbs regularly.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in SAP.
+ Advanced administrative skills for preparing complex reports and presentations.
+ Ability to analyze data using various software packages and databases.
+ Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively and stand for extended periods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
+ Strong communication skills for coordinating with the procurement team.
+ Attention to detail for accurate data entry.

Work Environment
The position is based in a partially climate-controlled warehouse. The role involves significant physical activity, including standing for extended periods and lifting weights of 20-50lbs regularly. The initial phase will require significant overtime and weekend work, totaling approximately 60+ hours per week, before transitioning to a standard 40-hour work week. Shifts are from 6:00am-2:30pm and 3:00pm-11:00pm.
