Job Description
The Revenue Analyst I reports to the Referral Testing Department Manager. Under general supervision, the Revenue Analyst I ensures timely and accurate revenue posting. This position enters charges, resolves issues and reconciliations of charge postings at a detail level. The Revenue Analyst I supports preauthorization workflow. The Revenue Analyst I collaborates with all personnel involved in the service/documentation/charge/claim/reimbursement cycle to maximize revenue.
The Revenue Analyst Possess knowledge of data processing techniques. Essential to be very detailed oriented with the ability to methodically analyze data and solve complex problems. Absolutely necessary to be proficient with Microsoft products. Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision. Communication skills are essential. Candidate should possess a high school diploma, with some college preferred or equivalent of 4-5 years of hospital billing, operations, and revenue cycle experience.
Additional Job Description
Education :
A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years’ work experience in hospital revenue cycle operations related to charging, coding and reimbursement required. Medical terminology and CRCA Certification preferred.
