JOB SUMMARY
The Revenue Coordinator is responsible for providing technical and analytical support to the Kessler Area Director of Revenue Management at a multi-property level to maximize potential profit through employed rates and strategies in order to hit budgeted goals. The desired candidate must possess strong analytical skills with high technical proficiencies and the ability to use systems data to make successful yield decisions.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:
Strategic:
- Partner with the Kessler ADORM to develop and implement revenue-generating strategies by employing the following:
- Attend and prepare reports for the weekly scheduled yield meetings per property
- Analyze market changes and comparison performance through STAR reporting
- Review the hotel’s past by utilizing MRDW Demand reports
- Evaluate the hotel’s Realized Demand vs. Last Year information
- Manage One Yield’s competitive rate shop reports and MRM weightings
- Ensure that Transient & Group Restrictions meet the demand for the market
- Monitor watch dates in OneYield for the next 90 days, communicating major changes to ADORM
- Review upcoming holiday and special event strategies
- Review KDATE week – for upcoming events and changes to strategy that is yet to roll into MARSHA
- Monitor daily pick-up and pricing changes in the competitive set to make adjustments to strategy
- Monitor room pool inventory and One Yield recommendations to adjust room pool inventory and pricing
- Ensure the hotel is competitively priced with their competitive set by:
- Analyzing all tools and systems to develop and integrate strategies focused on revenue and profit maximization.
- Completing Rate Value Assessments, with the help of hotel, for each segment and rate season, as needed, to ensure hotel is priced as the best value within its competitive set and surrounding hotels.
- Assisting with the initial implementation of the yearly Business Transient pricing process through MarRFP. This process includes evaluating the next year’s benchmark rates and providing account contribution for previous year.
Technical:
- Implement all sales, pricing and restriction strategies in the Marriott systems, including MARSHA, High Performance Pricing, One Yield, MarRFP, Epic, eFAST, MRDW and Brandworks.
- Complete all updates needed to OneYield, including overriding demand, RPO and hurdles to set needed strategy as determined by ADORM
- Load all new rate plans in the systems for promotions, packages, negotiated and other rates
- Update internal Kessler reports on a weekly and monthly basis, to include rooms pace, catering pace and STAR submissions
- Pull reports for the ADORM as needed
- Create custom spreadsheets in Excel to analyze performance
- Audit and test sell MARSHA and other Marriott systems to ensure everything is in working order
- Test sell groups to monitor GPO setup and performance
- Update property listings on external channels, including OTA’s and wholesale
- Assist Group & Reservations Coordinator and Front Desk with balancing issues that occur between the systems
- Ensure that all MARSHA facts pages and guarantee and cancellation policies are up-to-date and relaying the most current information to the guest
- Maintain guaranteed request allocations, such as accessible rooms and ERS attributes
- Maintain substitution table of rate programs so quoting of hotel is correctly executed
- Update One Yield’s future forecasts on a monthly basis, loading Group To Be’s and adjusting Transient ADR and room nights
- Pull month-end reporting to record performance metrics and special rate production
- Provide overall Group and transient strategy recommendations through KDATE, to include seasonal pricing, restriction, and authorization strategy. This includes recommendations for High, Low, Target Group pricing for sales team member’s use.
- Perform annual audit and clean-up of the rate codes and category setup in MARSHA and High-Performance Pricing (MCAT)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, License, Certifications, Experience
- Associate’s degree - preferred
- Hospitality or related industry experience - required
- Previous revenue management experience – required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel - required
- Valid Driver’s License – required
- Knowledgeable of hotel market – preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT

- Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, without the use of a private office.
- Must be able to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines with a high degree of optimism, professionalism & collaboration.
- Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
