IDR is seeking a Revenue Cycle and Coding Specialist to join one of our top clients in Austin, TX. Essential Job Functions: primary role is to support all of revenue cycle from coding to billing. They will collect medical claims from a physician and conduct chart reviews on documentation to meet with compliance of governmental and contractual regulations. Top Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in medical coding, medical auditing, or billing, in multi-specialty outpatient/professional billing setting
- Need to be able to perform a true chart review – determine the diagnosis, procedure, and CPT codes
- Strong communication skills – talking with physicians and providers – needs to be detail oriented
Nice to Have:
- Ability to correlate the code to the charge that’s associated for billing, and communicate this effectively
- EPIC EMR experience would be highly preferred
- Experince in cardiology
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), OR Certified Coding Specialist ? Physician (CCS?P), OR Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
