Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Revenue Qualifying Specialist to join our PharmScript team within our Revenue Cycle Operations department. As a Revenue Qualifying Specialist, the ideal candidate ensures that all outstanding census-related tasks are completed. The ideal candidate is a people person who enjoys troubleshooting and resolving problems and is dedicated to helping customers. For you, no task feels too small and no challenge impossible. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for entering and tracking all daily census and face sheets from Beneficiary Facilities for correct Billing to Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Insurances
- Contacting the facility on the status of Medicaid pending residents
- Communicate with Business Office Managers, Directors of Nursing and/or Administrators at the long-term care facilities as needed
- Timely verification and entry of customer information
- Maintain accurate and complete census records concerning patient billing activity
- Meet all census deadlines designated by customer expectations and contractual agreements
- Work and partner with other internal and external departments to resolve issues
- Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA
- Other related processes and job duties, as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to work independently as well as in a diverse, team environment
- Reliable, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor
- Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills
