Olive Recruiting is looking for an experienced Rigging Superintendent to support a specialty rigging client in Bristow, VA. The Rigging Superintendent is an essential hands-on leadership role that will be responsible for all project activities, department management, and customer success.
Location: Bristow, VA
Full-time, direct hire with client
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:
- Hands on supervisory role with the ability to effectively rig utilizing forklifts, Versa-Lifts, cranes, skates, jacks, Gantry and other necessary equipment
- Provides strategic leadership to meet operational goals in terms of volume, cost, quality, safety, and schedule
- Develop, train, and instruct one or more crews in the best-known rigging operation practices and procedures including safety
- Work closely with safety personnel in coordinating safety training, accident, and injury investigations and reporting and equipment or property damage incidents investigations and reporting
- Effectively manage projects by documenting and organizing all project details ensuring accuracy with all necessary information.
- Manage and build rigging department
- Perform other job responsibilities as assigned or as needed
- Minimum 2 years' proven rigging foreman experience or comparable field preferably within the rigging industry
- Minimum 5 years' rigging experience with forklift, skating, leveling, and anchoring of machines
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States
- Experience moving and setting large equipment such as presses required
- Active rigging certification and ability to drive an issued company vehicle
