Responsibilities:Arcfield has an amazing opportunity in support of an Enterprise Space Communications Architecture mission and is searching for System Engineers that will oversee and support engineering lifecycles and the acquisition of space and ground communications capabilities. Arcfield has over 40 years supporting this mission critical program, along with proven track record of providing outstanding customer support with consistent high award fees. This well-established, tenured team of SETA engineers is looking to expand their expertise and seeking a candidate who will play a pivotal role in managing risks, issues, and opportunities (R/I/Os) for space and ground-based communication systems, ensuring successful development efforts and delivery of cutting-edge solutions for a transformative shift in space communications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and programmatic advisory services during program execution.
- Track technical progress, identify risks, and assess technical solutions in collaboration with development teams.
- Facilitate and champion the R/I/O process for the acquisition office
- Document R/I/Os in customer provided IT tool and provide R/I/O reports as needed
- Facilitate R/I/O Boards at the acquisition office level and interface with enterprise R/I/O Boards
- Support acquisition artifact development such as statements of work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), and proposal evaluation criteria.
- Offer systems engineering advisory services during the process of identifying and developing mitigation strategies for R/I/O’s
- Coordinate with Program Offices to collaborate on system requirements and R/I/O identification and management
- BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5
- Must possess and have the ability to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
- Experience with Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) support.
- Proficiency in systems engineering and risk management
- Experience in Space Communication or related field.
- Strong technical background with expertise in evaluating and integrating complex systems solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to produce clear, logical, and concise products.
- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with personnel at all levels of government.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products for planning and communication.
