The Sales Specialist cultivates and grows customer relationships by providing top-notch customer service and an easy customer experience. This position is a fast-paced position and the ideal applicant must be able to focus both on maintaining existing customers and growing the customer base. This position will come with some leads but will be expected to cold call. The job offers a base salary plus commission, a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental and life insurance.
Job Duties:
- Grow and maintain customer relationships though regular check-ins with existing customers and cold calling
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs, striving to become a strategic partner in their metal roof offerings
- Promote company culture through customer and fellow employee interactions
- Follow up on all leads, phone calls, email inquiries effectively
- Use CRM to keep track of turn around times on estimates and follow up
- Assist in growing sales portfolio
- Build and complete estimates for jobs in a timely manner and send to customers
- Work closely with our Production Coordinator to ensure timelines are met on production and delivery schedules
- Participate in weekly sales meetings
- Hit sales goals through warm and cold leads, as needed
- Other duties, as needed to provide an excellent customer experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
- Must have knowledge of construction industry, including knowledge of the roofing process
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to efficiently use a CRM for accurate production tracking
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read blueprints and Eagleviews (or other aerial reports) and provide accurate material estimates from them
- Strong customer service skills, including problem solving abilities
- Ability to handle a fast paced positions, including juggling multiple accounts at once and multiple jobs at once
- Bilingual applicants given strong consideration, but not a requirement for the position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000 - 80,000 base + commission
