Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionThe SAP Business Support Analyst plays a key role to provide support to diverse finance teams across the organization through business applications
This position will provide systems and business application management experience by understanding business processes and making recommendations for enhancements to drive operational effectiveness and efficiency through business systems and/or applications.The Opportunity As the SAP Business Support Analyst, you will possesses advanced knowledge of SAP and applies this knowledge to look in-depth at information pertaining to the area. Acts as a resource in providing information to others in the implementation of solutions. Applies fundamental concepts, practices and procedures to analytical work. Responsibilities:Performs support of production applications by resolving incidents and requests via a ticketing tool, tracking problems/issues and Coordinating support for the Americas and process service tickets Support roll-outs, training and event preparation (coordinate with local key-users & SMEs) Liaise with global and regional colleagues (regular update meetings)Supports the team in the areas of Finance and Controlling. Acts as counterpart to IT professionals for project implementation, solution development, escalation and issue resolution
Organizes and controls the local support process with the local and global IT organizationCoordinates the timely resolution of service tickets with Analysts and IT (global & local).Maintain, and enhance business applications, reporting, and analysis solutions with a focus on maintaining the integrity of the business application, process efficiencies and improve service levelsCollaborate with management team to identify upgrades and development of new functionality with current business applicationsServes as the link between local and global business and acts as liaison between local business and IT professionals. Provides leadership and consultancy for implementation, management and further development of the global divisional best practice processes in SAP Finance and Controlling modulesReviews local change requests and identifies potential for changes to global solution. Supports the local change management process and any supporting documentation required to assist the GCR in the introduction of the change to the Change Management Team (CMT)Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.Who you areBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field 2 years business/systems analysis/analytical experience2 years of SAP experience, preferably supporting the system1 year of experience with a ticketing tool, such as Service Now (Desirable)FICO SAP Support is a mustAbility to implement appropriate technical solutions to address business needsAdvanced MS Excel, Demonstrated sound judgment and decision makingComprehensive experience analyzing and solving business situationExcellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English are required Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting
