Job Overview:
The SAP Concur Travel Functional Consultant (FC) is an expert in the SAP Concur Travel, and Expense products and associated systems. This expert will serve as the primary consultant on Professional, and Time & Materials implementations of SAP Concurs Travel & Expense products for Public Sector customers.
This includes managing customer functional expectations, client requirements gathering, system design and support. The FC also consults with a variety of SAP Concur and client resources to identify solutions for each implementation. The FC is responsible for executing to all functional project deliverables. Complete phase 1 and phase 2 implementations, as well as other configuration work, within aggressive timeframes while consistently delivering exceptional levels of work quality and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
+ Work with client and Travel Management Company resources to identify business requirements, analyze, and configure the Concur Travel application to meet client needs according to Configuration Services procedures and best practices.
+ Effectively interface with external clients and internal teams while demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication practices.
+ Informs clients and Travel Management Company resources of project activities and progress on a consistent basis through meetings, status reports and standard communications.
+ Ensure configuration inquiries are promptly addressed and solutions are completed accurately and on time.
+ Ability to manage both simple and complex, multi-phase functional requirements in implementations, which may include custom add-on services
+ Gather functional and business requirements from customers, evaluate their needs and create a system design and resultant configuration while working closely together with SAP Concur PM and Technical resources
+ Maintain a current and thorough understanding of Concur Travel and Expense.
+ Contribute to the development of configuration best practices and contribute to team training and development efforts.
+ Entry level/basic Project Management
+ Perform Project Implementations according to SAP Concurs Project Management Methodology
+ Work with the PM to develop a project plan for each assigned functional deliverable based on SAP Concurs methodology
+ Complete other activities and duties as needed.
+ Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.
+ Manage the expectations of the client (internal and external) with regard to product functionality, functional deliverables, timeframes, etc. by understanding the key business drivers and their prioritization
+ Consistently communicate deliverable status with SAP Concur project management and customer by means of status reports and status calls
+ Adhere to SAP Concur SOPs to engage customers with Post-Production Support
+ Ability to Travel approx. 20-40%
Qualifications
Education, Experience & Training required:
+ BS/BA or a combination of experience and education/training equivalent to a four-year college degree
+ 4 Years in consulting field with Functional Expert experience
+ 2 Years SAP Concur experience
+ 3 years of experience in a software/services consulting environment, preferably financial services
+ Ability to pass a background check

+ Demonstrated detailed knowledge of software design theory and current practices
