About the Job
We are seeking an SAP Developer, to support Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Products business. As an SAP Developer, you will be responsible for the support and development of new and existing solutions in SAP applications (e.g. S/4 HANA, MDG, GRC ) to support current as well as future business needs. You will be a member of a team that designs, develops and delivers solutions to address problems or new features.

What You Will Do
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the SAP business systems.
- Work with SAP functional and technical teams across US, Mexico, and India.
- Collaborate with various teams such as SAP functional analysts, technical teams, integration developers and basis to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Translate functional requirements and specifications into technical solutions.
- Design and develop solutions using various SAP development techniques such as reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms and workflow.
- Analyze issues or opportunities to provide technical design alternatives and recommendations.
- Participate in technical design and code review sessions.
- Create and maintain technical design specifications, technical unit test plans and other solution documentation. Execute technical unit test scenarios.
- Use technical and process knowledge to come up to speed on new technologies and tools required for SAP development and support.
- Evaluate technical solutions, provide alternatives, and recommend an approach to solve a problem.
- Perform root cause and impact analysis of issues.
- Provide 24x7 on-call support for the SAP business systems.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in SAP application development utilizing ABAP & ABAP on HANA
- Experience in report, interface, enhancement and form development in SAP S/4 HANA.
- Experience developing utilizing user exits, BADIs, enhancement points, BAPIs, RFCs.
- Experience troubleshooting system issues by utilizing analytical and problem-solving skill.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology or a related field.
- Experience with SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI/CO, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay)
- Proficiency in SAP tools for performance tuning, debugging, and runtime analysis, as well as knowledge of SAP HANA technical concepts (e.g., AMDP, CDS, ADB).
- Experience with ABAP objects, SAP development tools (e.g., Eclipse, Business Application Studio), SAP workflow, UI5, Fiori, and OData Services.
- Ability to document technical designs and communicate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders, along with experience in mobile equipment development and SAP BTP extensibility.
