SAP Enterprise/Technical Architect
Overview
The SAP Enterprise/Technical Architect is responsible for designing and implementing SAP solutions that meet the needs of the organization. The primary role of this position is to provide technical leadership and guidance for the development and implementation of SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the SAP solution architecture for the organization, ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise architecture.
Design, implement and maintain SAP systems and applications, including all components such as databases, servers, software, and hardware.
Provide technical leadership for the development of SAP solutions, including the identification and selection of appropriate technologies.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Ensure that SAP solutions meet the requirements for availability, scalability, reliability, and security.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for all SAP systems and applications.
Provide guidance and support to other IT staff members, including developers, administrators, and analysts.
Stay up-to-date with new SAP technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for their adoption.
Lead the evaluation and selection of third-party products and services that are needed to support the SAP environment.
Collaborate with other IT leaders to ensure that the SAP environment is integrated with other systems and applications in the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP solution design and implementation.
Strong knowledge of SAP technologies, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP Ariba, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
Experience in SAP implementation methodologies, including ASAP, Agile, and Waterfall.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks, such as TOGAF or Zachman.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, IT staff, and vendors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in leading and managing technical teams.
SAP certification is a plus.
