Devon Bank is looking for a qualified intern to join our Commercial
Lending team. This position is a temporary, part-time position with the
potential for the role to transition based on overall performance. In
this position, you will report to the banks Regional Vice President.
Responsibilities will include the internal production and development of
forms, spreadsheets and reports that support the banks SBA lending
efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on
experience in a commercial lending environment, with the possibility of
long-term career growth within the organization.
Hourly position with potential for permanent placement based on
performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:
As directed, prepare and maintain spreadsheets that track SBA lending
activity within the commercial lending department.
As directed, design and produce collateral materials such as pamphlets,
brochures and in-house bank forms to promote the banks SBA lending
program.
Interact with and assist the banks Marketing Coordinator by providing
materials that explain and promote the banks SBA lending activities.
Assist in keeping SBA-related lending information current on the
website.
Seek and analyze competitor marketing/sales materials/website format,
etc.
Assist in the preparation of presentations to be conducted with
community-based organizations to inform small business owners of the
various benefits of SBA lending programs.
Other projects as assigned.
### Requirements
Enrollment or completion of a bachelors degree program required.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook,
etc.).
Some experience with content creation, graphic design (PhotoShop), and
presentations (PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to
prioritize in a changing environment.
Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal, and follow-up
skills.
Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and display a
positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
The duties of this job require minimum physical requirements such as
sitting at the computer, telephone activity, and occasionally lifting up
to 10 pounds.
