General Description
The Senior Project Manager position is responsible for the overall success of large, complex, federal client contracts, consisting of multiple projects and locations, with related scope elements. This includes client management, technical solutions, staffing and resource requirements, schedule, and cost management/performance of all projects within the program. This position provides supervision, training, mentoring, and direction to Project Managers, and serves as the main point of contact for customer issues or concerns.

Senior Project Manager
Minimum Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field. Experience may be substituted year for
year in lieu of education. Minimum of 10 years recent experience as a Project Manager on contracts of
$5M or more. OSHA 10 certification. OSHA 30 certification (or obtain within one year of hire).
Required Knowledge or Skills
Preferred Knowledge or Skills
Project Management Professional, LEED, USACE Construction Quality Management certifications.

Major Responsibilities
- Communicates and coordinates with project team at the start of projects to establish project targets and performance expectations.
- Ensures that project targets and expectations are met.
- Builds and maintains customer relations, schedules, and conducts regular communication.
- Prepares proposals for modification and negotiates resolution.
- Builds and maintains relations with subcontractors at the project management level.
- Supervises Project Managers and other assigned staff.
- Mentors staff, participates in the development of training programs, leads training modules as appropriate.
- Leads and participates in business development and preparation of proposals and estimates.
- Creates and maintains project schedule.
- Prepares cost estimates and proposals, allocates resources for project, and oversees field activities.
- Coordinates with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders to ensure conformance with contract terms.
- Represent Bristol as Point of Contact for contract, developing and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Prepares staffing Loading Schedule
- Confirms that all required permits and licenses have been obtained.
- Ensures project needs and objectives are being met.
- Coordinates with designated Quality Control and Health & Safety representatives to ensure.
Bristol and project standards are met.
- Minimizes company exposure and project performance risks.
- Prepares or reviews project information reports and other project reporting documents as required.
- Tracks costs and prepares Estimates to Complete/Accruals and Estimate to Complete reports on a timely basis.
- Prepares invoices to clients on a timely basis
- Prepares field reports and after-action reports
- Analyze and track project financial performance
Senior Project Manager
Minimum Education/Experience

Required Knowledge or Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to assist and communicate with staff, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ability to mentor and train multiple project managers and assistant project managers in a team environment.
- Extensive experience with detailed, cost loaded schedules using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Experience with detailed, cost estimates utilizing estimating software.
- Working knowledge of the requirements of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA.
- Ability to gather and analyze data, reason logically and creatively, draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
- Ability to prioritize and organize, work well under stress, meet deadlines.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to constant change.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet deadlines.
- Strong Excel and Word skills.
- Ability to perform tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
Preferred Knowledge or Skills
Project Management Professional, LEED, USACE Construction Quality Management certifications.

Physical Demands
- Medium physical workload.
- Employee must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading. Also required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy. equipment.

The worker is subject to a variety of physical conditions - proximity to Senior Project Manager moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electric current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
