Engineer Co-Ops and Interns will work closely with department leaders to learn to identify issues and opportunities and to respond quickly to operational problems. Engineer Co-Ops and Interns may also work closely with applicable Maintenance and Operating Technicians for troubleshooting, maintenance and project work. KTG USA has opportunities for both year-long internships and summer co-ops.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the manufacturing team with issues affecting the papermaking, converting and operational excellence functions, including supporting and driving corrective action efforts
• Assure the strategic flow of data/information within the SAP database as it pertains to any particular converting or manufacturing processes
• Opportunities to work within teams to support efforts to manage and update aspects in the SAP Plant Maintenance System
• Add to KTG USA's bench strength while furthering your knowledge and expertise in a manufacturing environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• In process of obtaining Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field with a current GPA of 3.0 or greater
• Technical/Functional Expertise: Has a sound foundation of understanding and ability to use engineering knowledge to meet project needs
• Strong skills in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Self-motivated: able to take ownership of assignments, develop work plans and proactively seek feedback to ensure objectives are aligned and met
• Must be flexible and responsive to the needs of the department/facility/business
• Ability to organize work activities, manage work time efficiently and work independently or in teams
