SQL Data Migration Analyst - Penda Aiken, Inc

SQL Data Migration Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing and managing the data migration process within the Finance Division which will include converting scripts/stored procedures from Oracle SQL to SQL Server.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Experience in data migration from Oracle SQL to SQL Server using Oracle SQL Developer and SQL Server Management Studio
• Expert in creating/modifying various stored procedures and functions as part of the data migration and cleansing process
• Extensive experience in complex SQL queries, analytical functions, and Oracle/SQL server objects
• Ability to manipulate large datasets
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with people at all levels
• Ability to perform under pressure and multi-tasking
• Skillful problem solver with excellent analytical skills
• Ability to analyze the business rules and put it into programmable logic
• Experience in managing financial data is a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data migration and advanced analytics
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skill
