Job Title: Sr. Accountant (this position is US Remote)

Essential Function: Responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.

Primary Duties:
30% Prepares, examines, and analyzes accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
25% Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
20% Develops, maintains, and analyzes budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
10% Develops, implements, modifies, and documents recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
10% Performs various account reconciliations for cash and inter-company accounts; analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
5% Establish and assigns entries to proper accounts in the General Ledger.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 2+ years experience working as Senior Accountant
• Previous experience working with Intercompany Accounting
• CPA designation preferred
• Sarbanes Oxley compliance experience desired
• Revenue experience
• Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, V Look Up, Sum Ups, Match, Index)
• Have worked for a Mid-Size to Large Corporation (understands industry practices-especially those of a Public company) 
• Comfortable working remote

• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to prepare and process journal entries

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements:

• The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
• The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
