About the Job
A leading global asset manager based in New York is seeking an SVP for their Financial Accounting and Reporting team.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, coordination, preparation/review and timely reporting of:
- Audited financial statements (Fund's and SPV's) in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS and other standards
- regulatory reporting and filing including SEC Form PF and Annex IV
- Fund NAV's, profit allocation, expense analysis and portfolio PNL
- Fund launch and Investor onboarding
- Analyze, review and recommend accounting policies within fixed income
- Report, and collaborate with Senior members of the team regarding accounting treatment for various investments and strategies
- Maintain appropriate supporting documentation and an effective internal control environment.
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting with a CPA
- 10+ years experience in the finance industry
- A solid understanding of US GAAP for investment companies
