About the Job
The Sales Account Representative I supports the Sales team by attending trade shows and participating in the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies with the goal of creating new contract manufacturing, private labels, and store brands.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Works closely and in coordination with the Sales Management team to develop, establish, direct channel, and distributes strategies and programs for both market and target customer.
- Establishes contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners.
- Maintains key customer relationships.
- Assists in the development/implementation of strategies for expanding the company’s customer base.
- Supports management by providing strategic direction on sales & marketing initiatives via customer input & category experience.
- Assists in the coordination, planning, organizing, and completion of all sales presentations & customer meetings.
- Builds customer confidence and loyalty via manufacturing efficiencies, value offerings, innovation, sales & marketing expertise.
- Travels domestically and internationally to attend trade shows.
- Follows and adheres to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices
- (cGMP’s), Standard Safety Practices, and all company policies/procedures.
- Completes other projects and tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of work experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Communication – able to speak clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective department operations and provide exceptional customer service.
- Computer Skills (Intermediate) – MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet.
