The Position:
We are looking for a Sales Administration Manager to manage the processes and systems related to servicing our customers and supporting the sales staff. The Manager will supervise the daily operations of a small team of Customer Service & Sales Support Administrators and lead, manage, and direct all customer service activities. In this role, you will:
- Provide direct supervision to a small team within the department
- Provide superior customer support by identifying issues, devising solutions, and accepting ownership to a successful closure.
- Create and maintain daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements for Sales department and the company.
- Work closely with the Service and Accounting departments to ensure accuracy of internal and customer documents.
- Responsible for order entry, answering phone lines, message management, data entry in CRM and performing all customer service/sales support activities as needed.
- Manage customer service efforts to resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner. Ensure effective procedures are in place to resolve customer issues.
- Monitor expected ship dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed. Communicate with internal and external customer on any deviations to established ship date.
- Liaison between Sales, Manufacturing/Scheduling, Quality and other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
About You:
- At least 3 years experience as a supervisor in similar position within a manufacturing facility
- Able to multi‐task and shift priorities to meet the needs of the sales department and of our customers
- Excellent decision‐making skills and are a natural problem solver
- Basic accounting knowledge including an understanding of invoices, credits, payments, and credit issues
- Excellent phone and email communications regarding order status and customer service issues
