Tipton Mills is looking for a Sales Associate to join our team onsite in the Columbus, IN office. This role may be filled as entry level or with some experience. A Sales Associate will work in Sales and Marketing to develop strategies, coordinate meetings with target customers and manage customer accounts. The Associate will work closely with accounts to resolve customer needs. The individual in this position reports directly to the Business Development Leader and may take direction from others in the company, including Supply Chain and company executives. The best individual for this role is dynamic, active, intelligent, and outgoing who easily builds relationships through great service and follow up. Sales Associate Primary responsibilities - Inside sales functions including phone and email communications with prospective and current customers
- Managing/leading new product launches, from concept through commercialization
- Managing customer accounts
- Developing sales communications, documents, brochures, blogs
- Supporting and participating in new product development in food laboratory
- Helping customers with packaging selection and artwork
- Overseeing website improvements
- Overseeing CRM (Customer Relationship Management software)
Key Skills and Requirements - College or University degree in business, marketing, or food science
- Fluent in Spanish
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Team player, Self-starter, Quick learner
- Excellent communication skills, including writing and speaking
Other - Company will train in sales process and product development
- Location is in Columbus, IN
- Will work on-site in office environment with others on the business team
