Our perfect candidate for the role of Sales Associate must have a proven track record of sales success in Hospitality and Food and Beverage. Our candidate must have an extensive base of knowledge in event sales and be able to relate to todays’ brides and current trends.
Responsibilities:
Event Sales
- Qualifying internal leads and turning inquiries into events, through tours, phone and email communication, inputting them into a CRM system
- Booking and detailing events with accuracy. Must have the ability to guide and lead guests through choices of food, beverage, set-up, themes, colors, etc. and oversee the event from start to finish
- Driving revenues in different segments with a heavy focus on social, private, and wedding business.
- Up-sell menu items to maximize revenues while providing increased value and an exceptional experience to our guests.
- Exceeding customers' expectations with great knowledge, and genuine service.
- Developing and maintaining exceptional relationships.
- Recommending pricing that shows tremendous value to our guest while profitability margins are met.
- After event has been completed, following up with the client and requesting feedback and a review
Team Development
- Being a team player to promote a positive atmosphere for our associates while keeping the highest of standards in place.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that enables effective and positive communication with guests, vendors, co-workers, and management.
- Cross train with the sales team to ensure consistency throughout the sales, coordinating and day of phases with clients.
- Assisting in the creation and execution of an annual Sales & Marketing plan.
General
- Exceeding customers' expectations with great knowledge, and genuine service.
- Meet and greet clients, conduct property tours, and promote facilities and services as required.
- Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
- Accurate and timeliness of reporting
- Attend all department and manager meetings as needed.
