Job Summary:
The Sales Coordinator/ Front Desk Agent is a hybrid position. We are looking for someone who has a welcoming professional attitude with hotel sales experience and the ability to deliver excellent guest service. You must be organized, detailed, with exceptional communication skills. This position performs administrative duties necessary to provide immediate service to potential and existing clients regarding the booking and coordination of group room blocks. Maintaining the events calendar, tracking events, creating BEOs, and track important deadlines.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing efforts.
Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.
Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders).
Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to the brand.
Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process.
Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events).
Other ad-hoc duties unexpected moments when we must pull together to get a task done.
Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
Help organize Front Desk/Credit Card Authrizations.
Ensure SPAs (Standard Procedures of Awesomeness) are being followed.
Ensure Group Binder is kept up todate with relevant information.
Highly motivated, organized, goal and results-oriented individual who thrives under pressure.
Front Desk Shift Coverage, you will spend a few hours each day working the desk and reviewing arrival/departures for potential leads.
Experience:
Hotel Sales experience
Proficient in Office (Excel/Word/PPT), Property POS
Front Desk Experience
Ability to work independently and to adapt to continuously changing environments.
Open availability (nights, weekdays, weekends, holidays, etc.)
Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
