We have combined data from public and private sources to launch Benefeature - an innovative platform to address shortcomings in existing market insights by leveraging our unique benefits experience, analytics and modeling capabilities.
Who You Are
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team at our leading Insurtech (SaaS) company. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts and establishing strong relationships with insurance industry clients. Your primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your territory will consist of Broker and Carrier clients in the industry, with a normal day involving making new connections, nurturing and following up with existing leads, demonstrating platform capabilities, coordinating contracting, and helping with onboarding.

What You'll Do
● Sales Prospecting: Identify and qualify potential clients within the insurance industry through research, cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and other lead generation strategies.● Product Demonstrations: Conduct engaging product demos tailored to the specificneeds of prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our Insurance SaaS solution.● Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately tracking all sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts using our CRM system.● Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market demands. Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams to drive continuous improvement.● Customer Success: Collaborate with our Customer Success team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new clients and facilitate ongoing customer satisfaction and retention.● Sales Performance Targets: Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs) on a consistent basis.● Collaborative Team Player: Work closely with the sales team, marketing, and other departments to share insights, strategies, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.
What You Bring
● Interest in Insurance Industry: Strong interest in insurance industry practices, processes, and challenges will be highly advantageous.● Relationship Building Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, and influence key decision-makers.● Communication and Presentation Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.● Results-Driven: A track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.● Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can adapt to evolving market conditions.● Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base annual compensation of $60,000 per year with a generous and uncapped commission potential based on new sales. Our standard on-target earnings (OTE) is expected to be 50/50 base/variable.
