Overview:

The Sales Engineer - Cloud Platform plays a crucial role in driving the sales of our cloud platform solutions by providing technical expertise to the sales team and effectively communicating the value proposition to potential clients. This role is essential in building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving revenue growth through the promotion of our cloud platform offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Educating the sales team on technical aspects of the cloud platform and its applications.

Collaborating with the sales team to understand client requirements and proposing suitable cloud platform solutions.

Demonstrating the capabilities and benefits of the cloud platform to potential clients through presentations and product demonstrations.

Providing technical support and expertise during pre-sales and post-sales activities.

Participating in the development of sales strategies and plans for the cloud platform offerings.

Assisting in the preparation of technical proposals and responses to RFPs.

Conducting product training sessions for the sales team and clients.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their evolving needs and challenges.

Collaborating with the product development team to provide feedback on client requirements and market trends.

Attending industry events and conferences to promote the cloud platform solutions and network with potential clients.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in sales engineering or a similar technical sales role.

Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Strong technical and analytical skills to effectively communicate the features and benefits of the cloud platform.

Excellent presentation and communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product development.

Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying client needs.

Experience in delivering technical product training or conducting workshops.

Familiarity with CRM software and sales enablement tools.
