JOB DESIGNATION
As a Field sales engineer your role is crucial in supporting the USA sales team and customers. Your expertise and guidance as a trusted advisor are essential to maintaining our reputation and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, it is essential that you possess strong teamwork skills and a diligent work ethic, while also being able to work efficiently and intelligently. We are looking for someone who is proactive and driven.
- Dedicated Professionalism to colleagues and customers is a must
- Technical proficiency in Engineering with science background would be ideal.
- Requires complete understanding of the equipment along will all mechanical aspects. Understand the importance of GMPs, QA, and GDPs. Ability the systems and the application process
- Ability to Identify, qualify and close new business opportunities as they arise during your installation and/or during Maintenance Schedule.
- In-person and virtual meetings with customer in your assigned geographic area
- Collect relevant information during these meetings to ensure we address customers’ needs and offer the best possible solutions.
- Quote customer at a timely manner (You really want them to quote? Why not let inside Tech Services take the information from the engineer and quote the customer.
- Ability and willing to travel 50-75%
- Strong communications and presentations skills
- You might need to work evenings and weekend as required.
- Spanish, German and Chinese speaking a plus
EDUCATION
College Graduate with focus on mechanical engineering and bioprocess skills.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
1 to 2 years of relevant experience
SKILLS
- Engineering degree and life sciences at a credited university
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethics
- Strong attention to details and the ability to complete task
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
WORK AUTHORIZATION
- All applicants must live in the USA.
- US citizen or permanent resident
- Salary range information is only available to California candidates. Compensation varies on different factors (experience, qualifications, location, etc…)
- Passport for Technical Training in China and/or Germany
